In 1961, a mother is waiting for her son to have dinner, by the movie theater, on a street of Asunción. Although the play has the Paraguayan dictatorship as backdrop, this performance reflects all the Latin American dictatorships of the 20th century, with a narrative that could take place in our time. The text portrays how authoritarian governments camouflage the terror with an air of apparent tranquility.
