Tribo de Atuadores Ói Nóis Aqui Traveiz takes this Shakespearean classic to the streets and under critical investigation, using the adaptation created by Augusto Boal in the 1970’s to criticize the erosion of social rights in Brazil nowadays. The narrative is seen from the perspective of Caliban, a metaphor for the native peoples of the Americas decimated by the colonizers, symbolized by Prospero.
