Artists from Baixada Santista present to the public the creative processes of monologues, a result of a three-month research work, under the guidance of directors Nelson Baskerville, of the play A Vida, and Luiz Fernando Marques, director of the work Hoje o Escuro vai Atrasar Para Que Possamos Conversar. The workshop started with two questions about the minimum structure required for theater production, and which professionals and fields of knowledge are indispensable to create a work.

Luiz Fernando Marques (Lubi) was born in Santos. He graduated from School of Dramatic Arts of the University of São Paulo and has been part of Grupo XIX de Teatro since 2001, with which he directed and co-created the shows: Hysteria; Hygiene; Arrufos; March para Zenturo and Nada aconteceu Tudo acontece Tudo está acontecendo; Teorema 21 and Estrada do Sul. In partnership with other collectives, he directed several other works. His pieces have been staged in more than 100 cities in Brazil and 24 cities abroad. He accumulates prizes and nominations from major theater awards in Brazil. Since 2000, he is the director of the Núcleo de Direção da Escola Livre de Teatro de Santo André.

Nelson Baskerville graduated in Performing Arts from ECA-USP. He was an acting teacher at Teatro-Escola Célia Helena and at Escola de Atores Wolf Maya. He is the director of AntiKatártiKa Teatral, and wrote and directed Luís Antônio-Gabriela, which won the APCA and the Shell awards. He was also nominated for awards for the play As estrelas cadentes do meu céu são feitas de bombas do inimigo, created with Cia Provisório-Definitivo.

Free tickets may be picked up on the day of each presentation, starting at 10 a.m. at the Sesc box office. Limited to 2 tickets per person. Transportation: Free ferry boat, at 3:30 p.m., at the Edgard Perdigão Bridge, in Ponta da Praia.
