Ponto de Partida is a group founded in Barbacena in 1980 by artists who decided that they would not leave the city, but also would not accept the limitations of the province. In the show Vou Voltar, Ponto de Partida explored issues related to refugees based on the exile of the oldest theater group in Latin America, El Galpón.
